That IS a fantastic 'after'. I couldn't even have imagined it, looking at the original condition, so you are double skilled.
My whole house looks like its full of garage finds - if you should ever want to come and revamp stuff.......

Nice job! We have a couple of old garage sale pieces that I'm dying to do. The Warden, however, won't let me touch them.

you did an absolutely beautiful job Ivy! I love that you painted the 3 dimensional accents a beautiful color so they show more. :)

Like I said, there's plenty of work to do at our house.

...and you've just foolishly proved your credentials, so there's no excuse!

A1 job!

You did a great job! Now get your ass over here and work on this cedar chest of my grandmothers. I'll feed you and let you sleep on my couch. Maybe I'll let you peek in on the old man in the shower, but that's it. Hurry up, pack your bags. :D
Have a great weekend!

Ummm, you do realize that according to Antiques Roadshow you just destroyed the value of that piece, don't you?

But hey! It sure looks great! Good job, Ivy!

Wow! That looks great! It takes alot of patience to stip old furniture...especially pieces with fancy curves and grooves! You don't know me...I was just browsing your blog. I may borrow your comment about your memory foam slippers having amnesia!! I had a good laugh over that one!
